schach attacke

schach attacke is an adaptation of the classic game of chess geared towards children. it is presented as a rivalry between two gangs at a school: the weißen westen and the schwarzen schafe. players can choose to be one of the leaders of the two gangs. the rules of chess are taught through mini-games featuring bmx, inline-skating and skateboarding, where a singular elements of chess is implemented, with cartoon-like characters. a diary is used to store all the past lessons until everything has been learned and full games of chess can be played against a human player or an ai opponent. there are ten difficulty levels and the pieces are controlled with the stylus.
